I'm honored to be serving as your Lead Pastor. I've been at First Church since 2017. My husband, Brian, and I married in 1995, and we have five children. Our oldest is Morgan, and she is married to Cole and they are parents to a nearly perfect little girl, Marlo. Brian and I also have four boys - Carlton is the oldest son, then Camden, Coleman, and Chapman.
My dad always said, "If it's the truth, it's not bragging." We believe that First Church is the best church, because of the people that make up the church. It's the truth, so it's not bragging. And, we would love for you to give us a try!

Hi! I’m Christopher and I serve as the Executive Pastor, overseeing our staff and discipleship at First Church. My wife is Christina, and our family includes our children CJ, Chelsea, twin girls Camryn and Carly and an energetic big brown lab named Chaco. I enjoy reading books, playing all kinds of games, watching movies, and discussing theology. My family and I have been at First Church since 2021. We love it here and know you will, too!

A Place to Start
Say Yes: to life, to love, to God! Pastors Candace and Christopher teach this three week course three times per year. It's an opportunity for each attendee to see what it looks like to Say Yes to God! This course is open to everyone, whether you are new to First Church or have been attending for years. Those who attend all three weeks will get a First Church t-shirt. (Don’t fret! If you miss a class, you can catch the class when it is offered the next time.) Call the church office, 660.827.2993, to find out when the next Place to Start class will be held.
New Members Dessert Gathering
Offered four times a year, this is for all new members of First Church. Meet with the pastors and staff of First Church, along with other new members. Enjoy some delicious treats and meet some new friends.
